Thanks for dropping by. My car was brought in with my guy who is restoring the car. He acted as my agent. I think this is the easiest option as i know it wasn’t that simple. He had to submit papers to Canberra and pay duty’s and taxes. I can try dig up all the info about it if you like.

I’m looking at getting a 67′ mustang myself in the next couple of months hopefully and just wanted to know how you when about the shipping process. Did you arrange it yourself? What where the costs involved? HAve been quoted about $2800 to ship from California to Melbourne, is that about right?

Did you need to pay GST on the import of it? JUst want to get an idea so there aren’t any suprises when i go ahead and get it.

So far I’ve spent close to the 30k mark… that’s not including the car itself.

My advice, be prepared one what your getting into. Eleanor will drain your bank account, but it will be rewarding once completed!.
