Electric powered Eleanor Mustang

I stumbled across this interesting article about an all electric Ronaele (Eleanor spelt backwards) Mustang.

It seems HST Automotive, K2 Energy Solutions and Ronaele have joined forces to build two green powered muscle cars. That’s right! a Mustang without a V8.

The Mustangs come in two versions, the 300e and the 600e. I can only guess the 600e has more um… kilowatts?

In all seriousness these cars still have quite a bit of power with the 600e having more than 2,000 ft. lbs of torque. 300e’s top speed is going to be around 150 mph, but the ratios can be changed to bump it to over 200. Autoblog says “A full charge in the 300e will give you 100 miles (a dual battery pack will, unsurprisingly, double that)”

So if you’re a bit of a green thumb but want the look of a mean looking Mustang this might be the one for you.
