Back in April last year I reported about RRS’s new Strut Tower Brace’s and Under Dash Brake Booster. Well it’s been a good 8 months but they are now available to purchase.

Yet another unique piece of Shelby history has popped up on eBay, this time is a one of a kind test car that was used to experiment with air conditioning for the 1967 GT500’s. The car is a green 1967 Shelby GT500. Unfortunately the seller gives no further information except that the car comes with a full history and appropriate documentation to back it up. A letter from Carroll Shelby is also provided which verify that the car was used in testing when making the super snake. (Read more…)

Some videos from last weekends Barrett-Jackson auction in Arizona have now come to light and thankfully there are two Mustang related ones. The first is the 1969 Shelby GT500 Convertible once owned by none other than Carroll Shelby himself that sold to Ron Pratte for $674,000. (Read more…)

I posted about this only yesterday but may as well follow up on it. The 1968 Shelby GT500E (that appeared to be one of Unique Performance’s Shelby Continuation vehicles) has sold today at the Barrett-Jackson auctions in Scottsdale Arizona for a neat $140,000.
It seems ironic that after all the drama with Unique Performance that the owner of this car has decided to sell it off. (Read more…)

A final sale price of $605,000 (After auction fees) has been reached on the one-off glass-roofed Shelby GT500KR. Bidding began at $100,000. The proceeds of the auction will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). (Read more…)
