I posted about this only yesterday but may as well follow up on it. The 1968 Shelby GT500E (that appeared to be one of Unique Performance’s Shelby Continuation vehicles) has sold today at the Barrett-Jackson auctions in Scottsdale Arizona for a neat $140,000.
It seems ironic that after all the drama with Unique Performance that the owner of this car has decided to sell it off. Either way I wonder if the new owner knows about this site and all the dramas these Unique Performance owners have or have had.
And what about Carroll Shelby’s personal 1969 Shelby GT500 Convertible? Well that sold for a sum of $675,000. The winning bidder was no other than Ron Pratte, the same guy who bought the $5 million dollar Cobra SuperSnake last year. I can only image what his garage now looks like.

The first hundred Eleanor’s Unqiue Performance were great! but along the road something happend and that was the start of things to come. A Shelby is a Shelby and even after the “drama” I guess even this “Eleanor” is a Shelby and will stay like that for a long time.
