2005 Ford 40th Anniversary Tribute Edition Shelby G.T. 350

Take a look at this marvel. Now take a closer look! Check out those stripes which are made up of smaller images. It’s a 2005 Tribute Edition Shelby G.T. 350 40th Anniversary which is an Official Product of Carroll Shelby Licensing, Inc. However it’s a little different. The story goes that one of the members of the Shelby Forums owns a company called MESTENGO F/X, Inc, a company that was licensed to produce some tribute edition Shelby kits for 1994 to 2005 Mustangs (which can be seen on the car below). Jay Leno’s 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

Jay Leno 1965 Shelby Cobra GT350

I came across this video quite a few weeks ago and though it was just awesome. Among the countless rare and exotic automobiles Jay Leno has in his garage one of them happens to be an original 1965 Shelby GT350.

Most of us would give just about anything for even a replica of one of these but Leno has gone one better be procuring an original one, car #120 out of 562 to be exact, which he thought was expensive when he bought his Mustang 20 years ago for an undisclosed sum. The headlight buckets and brackets are especially made for the Eleanor kits. They allow you to mount the headlight inside the kit which is often tricky with these kits. The buckets (Read more…)
