The Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach kicked off a few days ago and one of the more notable lots was a paid of Shelby GT500KR cars from Knight Rider Fame. The cars were being auctioned off for charity and while these cars officially weren’t Shelby GT500KR’s, rather Mustang GT’s made to look like KITT, they still fetched a tidy sum for a good cause.
Two cars why you say? Well one was dressed up for the ‘Attack Mode’ and one as the normal KITT mode. The auctioned closed at an even $300,000. Ford also came to the party throwing in the rights to buy an actual GT500KR at MSRP.
