I came across this familiar Eleanor clone today. This is the same black and gold clone that was sold at the Australian Shannon’s Auctions last year and the same Mustang that was for sale a few weeks later at the All Ford Day.
It seems the owner of this car just can’t offload it and I’m not surprised. When I had a good closeup look at it it appeared to me to be a bit rough. The kit was out of line (see photos), the exhaust tips were sticking out way too far, the upper and lower scoops were molded shut and overall the paint scheme, inside and out, was not my cup of tea.
Anyway It’s up for auction again, now on Ebay. It finishes tomorrow and as yet has no bids. I wish the seller good luck but somehow I can’t help but feel that I’ll be seeing this Mustang again.

i was at the all ford day the other week end and i spoke to the owner. his name is anthony
he asked me if i wanted to buy it..for $130k he said he has had the car for just over 2 years and he had it shipped to him as it looks today. he said he was in partners with his brother in the ownership of the car
i agree that i is in very poor condition..i would not think he would not get much more than $60k…if lucky and the buyer was an absolute idiot
CAMERON I HAVE SEEN THIS ELEANOR AND I DISAGREE WITH ALL OF YOUR COMMENTS. THIS MUSTANG WON AN AWARD ON THE FORD DAY IN QUESTION -HOW CAN IT BE THAT BAD! MAYBE THE COMMENTATOR IS THE ‘IDIOT”.
Hi mate,
What award did it win? lol
Anyway we’re all entitled to our opinions but take another look at the photos
Yours truly
The Idiot
