67 Mustang Blog in Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine!

Earlier this year I was contacted by the guys at Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine asking if they could do a small write up in their magazine. Obviously I agreed and after answering some questions I was told the article would appear in the September 08 issue in the Cyber Stallions column.

Now because I am in Australia I was unable to get a copy and I have been told the Cyber Stallions column has been cut for the latest issues, so I’m not 100% certain the article actually made it to print, so if anyone has it please let me know. McQueen Estate Green Light Bullitt replicas

We’re all accustomed to seeing the refreshed looking 2008 Bullitt Mustang but it looks like we may be seeing some official 1968 Bullitt Mustangs in the very near future.

Last week the McQueen estate confirmed they have authorized the building of official replica Bullitt Mustangs in honour of the film’s 40th anniversary. (Read more…)

eBay Find: The Fast & The Furious RB26 Powered Ford Mustang

I would never have thought I would see this car for sale on eBay, though it seems everything ends up on there these days. Towards the end of last year I blogged about the 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback that appeared in the Hollywood movie The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift. What made this car interesting was that it was powered by a Nissan RB26DETT which is originally found in the holy grail of all Japanese performance cars, the Nissan Skyline GT-R. (Read more…)
