Extreme Australian Weather, Devestating Bushfires And Mustangs In The Middle

Australian Bushfire Disaster Victoria

It’s no doubt by now you have heard about the devastating bushfires that are going on in Australia. We’re in the midst of the worst bushfire disaster in Australian history with almost 200 people confirmed dead with that number expected to rise. It’s truly horrific.

For this reason and out of respect I do not have any updates for this week. The fires are occurring in country Victoria, which is where both Toby and I have our cars located.

Currently there are three bushfires in the region where our cars are hold up. I managed to speak to John yesterday and he confirmed he and his family are safe and the cars are also safe.

It’s also worth noting before these terrible bushfires Victoria experienced its hottest weeks on record with 5 days in a row well over 40 Degrees Celsius (104F). John explained that these extreme temperatures have made it very difficult to work on cars in un-airconditioned sheds. Coupled with the Christmas and New Years breaks means we’ve had a slow and tough few months.

We should have some updates on Toby’s paint work soon, with photos to boot. Stay tuned and if you feel like donating to the Australian Red Cross bushfire relief fund please go
