I,ve been waiting a long time for my shell , thought it was being delivered to my car builder today only to find out that the shell was damaged in transit along side alot of rrs parts .I never thought building a car would be so dissapointing. I have a great car builder George, he owns Robert st Auto,s he specailises in restorations and has a 67 coupe which will be featuring in street machine as they have been following the build. To all you guys that have your cars i,m in envy of you all. As soon as my new shell lands in the country i will post more info and pictures.

Still, there is a few things that need adjusting.Doors, left passagener door wont shut 100%.Drivers side shuts but could be better.I think things came lose or moved with the transport.I think the power sterring is leaking fluid.Need to adjust pedals to suit me.I'll Get these things checked out next week.Paint and body is awesome

Yes,i could have got it built here. But this is the real deal No.12/200/750hp licensed car.Bought when dollar was strong against the US.I wouldn't have bought it now, if i was buying now with the dollar value. Not sure about car shows yet, will see when i get the car.Yes ,i'm very lucky i didn't go with unique.Would have lost my money for sure.Good luck with your build, post up some photos when you can

I have a car builder here in Sydney who is working closely with RRS and will engineer it and register it before i take delivery. Why did you not consider a local car builder ,might have worked out cheaper with the exchange rate and all the taxes to inport a complete car. In any event Classic Recreations has a good name in the states for producing good work. I,m glad you did your homework before you started might have gone with unique and been disappointed. I hope you exhibit the car at shows as i look forward to seeing it, can,t wait to get mine now you got me all fired up. Enjoy your new toy. mick

Hi Micheal, car is a orginal body not a reproduction.Car as a reproduction new body would have been a big hassle importing and getting registered in Australia.I wanted to get a new body but found out the problems that go with it and we decided to use a orginal body instead.I would have had alot of trouble importing car with a new body, that was the main reason.

Hey Michael, I'll let Adrian answer that one.

As for registration well it depends on which state you are in. I know Victoria differs from NSW a bit so some things Adrian is doing to his car i can't do and visa versa.

Im sure Adrian will read this soon and reply.

Thanks
