It’s been some time since I posted a reader ride so there’s no better time than now to show you all Dee’s 1967 Raven Black Fastback. Having owned the car since April 2010 Dee has been working hard getting the car up to scratch and has kindly shared a heap of photos with us.

The car has needed alot of structural work and new metal though Dee has been working hard and still has lots planned.

“I am using the excellent ‘Mustangs To Fear’ Bodykit, ‘Rod & Customs’ front coilover kit with power rack, suspension towers cut out, 351 w upgraded engine, 5 speed Tremec, lightened flywheel, Heidts 4-link rear, Wilwood Red 4 piston callipers with drilled/slotted rotors all round, side exit exhausts, relocated gas cap, LED lights, polished tilt column and much more.”

His car started out as a standard fastback with a 289 automatic transmission and the car was imported into the United Kingdom from the US in December 2009.

Below you can find all the specs. I can tell this will be a fantastic car and can’t wait to see it on the streets soon. Thanks Dee and keep the photos coming.

Don’t forget, if you have a project you wish to share with us. Please email 67mustangblog (at) gmail.com

Absolutely love this classic muscle car – have you seen the wall prints they have of the mustang over here? Amazing stuff!

  2. Andrew says:

Looks great! There’s something about the hood scoop on the MTF kits that I just don’t like, though. With the cost of petrol in the UK, this one’s gonna be a be-arch to run! Still, great looking car and good work thus far.

  3. Rachel Mtichell says:

  4. Dee says:
